We’re throwing a party – and you’re invited!

Next week, the CoPress team will travel from far and wide, by plane, train, and automobile, to assemble in Philadelphia, Pa. That’s right, for the first time we’re meeting in real life.
The pre-Christmas caucus will convene for two days of organizing, designing, hacking, and other unfinished business. There’s much to be done, setting our schemes for 2009 in motion.
If you’ll be in the Philadelphia area, we’d like to connect with you too, no matter what your interest in online journalism or college media may be. So come have lunch on Wednesday, December 17. We plan to meet up at a restaurant around University City (TBD) from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. We’re eager to discuss any topic — from the grandest first amendment notions down to the nitty gritty technical details of web publishing, our project or better yet your ideas. Or pie. Everybody loves pie.
Interested? Drop Daniel a line. Some of us may be free Tuesday or Wednesday evening as well, if you fancy an after-work beverage instead.
More updates soon on the work ahead.

Boo, that’s during finals! Sorry I won’t be able to meet up with you guys! Looking forward to reading about it!
Where the heck did that picture come from?
