To get the ball rolling in preparation for Thursday's session, here are some examples of the kind of feature pages we'll be going over:

• Sydney Morning Herald: Sexual Warfare in the Democratic Republic of Congo

• Boston Globe: Ted Kennedy: A Life in Politics

If you've got any favorite features you've come across lately, post 'em here. Some common elements in the above examples:

• Wall-to-wall graphical content
• Bold typography and color contrast
• Multimedia in the A1 section of screen real estate
• Print-style page design and layout

These are just some initial thoughts. What else do you think contributes to an engaging user experience?
