| | I've made this my pet project the last couple days and I feel like I am really close to making progress. We have a Connect button on our site where readers can comment. However, when you login, it then says our app is under construction. I've googled why this keeps appearing multiple times and haven't found much documentation on this problem. I know not a lot of other sites have experimented with this, but I thought it was worth throwing out there to see if anyone had any suggestions. |

| | Good news, wkuherald.com has Facebook Connect now working. The bad news is that only one open connection to Facebook is allowed, so we had to delete our fanbox. I even had WKU IT people working on it and they seemed to think the glitch was in Firefox somewhere. Nonetheless, we're thrilled to have this feature working and think it will really help liven up discussion amongst the community. |

| | Hey Andrew, I think I may have found the issue with the conflict between FB Connect and the fan widget. On the FB Developer Wiki they state that: Important: If you want to place a Fan Box on a page on your site that already references Facebook Connect (that is, the page contains one script that calls FeatureLoader.js.php and another that calls FB.init), then you must not reference these scripts again. You simply can just put in the fb:fan tag where you want the Fan Box to appear

We used Facebook Connect by Adam Hupp. Pretty simple to install. |
