We can transition a database of articles, media, users and even email subscribers for whatever platform you're on. If you already have your own site setup we're happy to transition just the database.
We'll also set you up with a fresh install of WordPress, a premium theme, and a set of recommended plugins to get you started. Right after setup, we'll do a full orientation to WordPress so that you're comfortable enough to start hacking.

Full access to the server also means that you're able to install any apps that you want whenever you want. Control is where it ought to be: in your hands.
What kind of data will be lost in a transition to WordPress?
You'll have all your data, and in a new and improved, open-source format that you can bring anywhere you need to go in the future. Your articles, authors, pictures, embeds, user data, -all of it can be transfered.
How long will the transition to WordPress take?
Although it depends on the format and size of your archives (and whether you have to obtain your archives from a third-party host), we can get a development site up and running for you in less than two weeks. If you do have to wait on a third-party service, we can set up a sandbox environment in which you can get the theme exactly the way you want.
