History
The Mustang Daily launched its first Web site in 2005, hosted by Digital News Network, which was bought over by College Publisher in 2006. The first online editor for the Mustang Daily was Ryan Chartrand who served from 2005-2008. His successor, Lauren Rabaino, is still the current online and multimedia editor.
In fall 2007 under editor in chief Kristen Marschall, the Mustang Daily required all reporters enrolled in the Mustang Daily class (JOUR 352) to complete one multimedia story each quarter (video, audio slideshow, interactive graphic, etc). In fall 2008 under editor in chief Marlize van Romburgh, the requirement jumped to two with at least one blog post a week.
